Hotel Description

• The hotel has 131 guestrooms and suites, each tastefully appointed with art deco country style furnishings and Cambodian boject d'art, reflecting the period architectural theme. The main building carefully restored and refurbished to original architectural style, is complemented by new wings of the same architectual inspiration.

• Hotel Location: Located on the edge of the town of Siem Reap on a 60,000 square meters site only eight kilometers away from the gateway of the famous Angkor temples. Walking distance to the market, 10 minutes to the Angkor Wat Complex and 15 minutes to the airport by car. Angkor Wat and City Tours can be arranged with the hotel concierge. Passport and Visa are required for entry to the country. Visitor Visa can be obtained at Phnom Penh or Siem Reap airport.

• Spa/Health Club/Fitness Facility: Steam room, Gymnasium consisting of a unica multipurpose body building machine, one bike rate XT, one step race XT, two run race running machines, Anatomical crunch bench, lower back bench, Chromium plated dumb bells from 1-10kg, Reebok step, large 35 meters lap swimming pool, small children paddle pool and assault course - bicycles are for rent at the Spa along with Tennis rackets balls & ball machine, 33 individual price spa treatments are available for Example: facila treatments, exclusive spa body treatments, elusive body massages, special hand and foot treatments, Hydrotherapy, Aromatherapy. • Children's Programs: Sugar Palm Club - a free club for children age 4-13. There are Sugar Palm Club at other Raffles International Hotels across the world, so the club is international eg. Cambodia, Germany, UK and Singapore. Children receive complimentary a Sugar Palm passport, a coloring book and crayons - when dining at any of the hotel outlets, get stamp in the passport - when enough collected given a mystery birthday parties at a "member only" price. Members also receive a half yearly newsletter, birthday card sent to each member. Facilities include brightly decorated room, video, TV, games, a computer with CD rom v- lots of books and art stuff. Children barbecues organized along with special children activities on the last Saturday of every month eg. painting, coloring, face painting, model making, CD Rom games competitions. Room Description

• State Rooms: State Rooms, are located in the new wing of the hotel and provide a comfortable balance between modernity and classical elegance. They are available with a choice of pool view or a view of the lush green expanse adjacent to the hotel.

• Cabana Rooms: Cabana Rooms, are in the new wing of the hotel and feature a terrace with direct access to the pool. The rooms are furnished in comfort with a more modern design. Your private terrace provides a perfect place to sit back and enjoy a poolside snack after a day visiting the temples.

• Landmark Rooms: Landmark Rooms, located in the Main Building, are furnished with a luxurious blend of Cambodian and art deco themes. Decorated with memorabilia and artifacts reminiscent of the Golden Age of Travel, the Angkorian ambience is completed with wooden floors, marble bathrooms and crafted four-post beds. Rooms are available looking out onto the pool or onto the Royal Crusade for Independence Gardens – the hotel’s 60,000 sqm of lush, landscaped French gardens.

• Studio Rooms: Studio Rooms, created for longer-staying guests who prefer a more residential feel, are fitted with ergonomically designed workstations, full pantry facilities, and superior stereo systems. Studio suites are located in the new wing of the hotel, and both king-size bed and twin bedded suites are available.

• Two Bedroom Villas: The two villas have stylish resort décor and are ideal for residents who prefer more space and privacy. Villa Uma and Villa Kama are located in the hotel’s inner gardens and offer an uninterrupted view of the swimming pool. Each villa has one master bedroom with a four-poster king-size bed, one bedroom with two twin beds, and a spacious living room and dining area. All three rooms all beautifully decorated with original Angkorian artifacts, antique furniture, Persian style carpets, and wooden floors. The two en-suite bathrooms have an original claw-footed bathtub and separate shower unit; a third bathroom is available in the living area. Furnished in comfort and luxury, each villa has full pantry facilities and a private wine cellar.

• Personality Suites: Four specially created Personality Suites take their direction from people who have been closely associated with Angkor. Prized memorabilia and original artifacts, the results of extensive research, are but some well-loved items in the Personality Suites. There are named after Henri Mouhot, John Thomson, Louis Delaporte, and Henri Marchal. The four suites are located in the center of the main building, and look out onto the pool that is modeled after Angkorian royal bathing ponds. The suites also come with an original claw-footed bathtub, a private balcony, and are all fitted with a king-size bed.
